When you're in an intimate relationship, it can be easy to lose track of the outside world. You get so wrapped up in your significant other that you forget other people exist. Take Marshall and Lily from How I Met Your Mother as an example. There's an episode where their pals make them realize all the overly co-dependent stuff they do that they think is normal. Lily can feel her stomach hurt because Marshall overindulged in ice cream earlier that day. Not even identical twins can do that. (Unless they're the freaky kind). It's sweet on one level but concerning on another. It's nice to be close, but there should be limits.
